Camaraderie

Met up with two of my camp-mates yesterday for lunch and ate dim sum at chinatown to our hearts and stomach's content (argh..need to run more..). Spent the afternoon reminiscing about our days as YSLs and stuff of NSF days. They were buddies who always stood by when I needed help during the days of Forging Ahead.

Speaking of army, I think you see the best outta people in the toughest situations, especially in NS. Like during JCC, I'll never forget how my site buddy and I worked together and how he shared food with me in the harshest conditions. Darn, I miss that sense of camaraderie!

And of course I'll remember the extent how some people will go to for the sake of glory - making their sick friends run and fly down slopes. But then again, I wouldn't have actually found out I could still run with a 39 deg fever! *Clapclap. Also almost missed my comms parade coz of an a** who went for nights off and put a sick man on duty. Well well, history, and we all learn from it. I forgave but haven't forgotten.

Supper with scout buddies too last night, til the wee hours at a prata place. More reminiscence of the good old days. It's never-ending, put us all any place, any time, and we will start blabbering from a-z.

Not the ranks, not the appointments, it's the fighting spirit that matters. You have that?
