30th July 2005

One of the most happening days in my lyfe.

Woke up early @ 7am to go to school for campfire stuff, then reached home at noon to find out that my little terrapin of >13 years couldn't be found after one of their roam-the-house sessions. Combed and searched everywhere he could be and still to no avail.

Finally I contemplated that he managed to crawl out of the house and probably got abducted by my neighbour.

"Uncle, you got see my tortoise or not?" (my first time talking to my next door neighbour in 21 years and 9 months)

It turned out that my neighbour (who has a long history of always scaring my sisters and irritating us) had "kindly" taken him into his custody when he saw that he had strayed out from nowhere.

Yah right.

Anyway I was so happy when I saw Ninja again! It was like he probably had the shock of his lyfe being put in a toilet he'd never seen before. So glad that I asked evil neighbour before I left for D&D stuff. That look of relief on my sister's face..

The second part of the day was filled with rushing to prepare for D&D. Hollands, coffees, and last min crank ups, you name it, I kenna-ed.

In the end, all's well that ends well. Managed to pull off the whole event which turned out to be not as bad as I expected.

Thanks to Xig, who did me a huge favour by being the mcee and of course ah fu for a wonderful job done. Thanks to moo for the support and encouragement and esther for her inspirational words of wisdom (hiakz). And xx for offering saikang aid at the event. And c for boosting my morale with that 2hr 54min msn conversation the day before.

Maybe after all, I'm still glad I took up this project. Really forced me to grow and learn more and stretched my threshold.

CS rocks lah.
