Used to have the "I'll throw this away next time or donate it to charity" mentality when cleaning up. But over time I concluded that charity didn't need rough paper and old notes and old books.
Quite a trip down memory lane going through all the stuff. Here's some trivia:
---------
1. I finally decided to throw away my Mighty Mouse books but still cannot bear to part with my Banana Man books.
2. Wanted to throw away my encyclopedia (Find Out More) which I never read. You know those kind which were sold in parts weekly and you had to tear and section yourself kind? In the end I reckoned someday I might just decide to read through it
3. I saw my face in that one and only issue of primary school newsletter I appeared in. So cute can.
4. Saw my army tactics notes and assignments. Finally I understand now what I didn't then.
5. A paranomic photo on some mountain top with my platoon in Taiwan. Miss that place!
6. My sis has enough Ji Mi books to make me suspect she has the whole collection but she..denies it.
7. I still keep some copies of 8-days with Jam*s Lye, Li N*nxing and W*ng Lil*n on the covers. What? Cannot have idols ah?
---------
And so as I cleared I reminisced. Feels good to harp back on the past, feeling yesterday once more.
But then again, everything flows, nothing stays still. There's still today and tomorrow to take care of.
