Street lights herald a day's end.
The recent dragonboat tragedy has taken the main headlines for quite a number of days. 5 young lives, just lost like that.
The wave, the pontoon, the decision to row back themselves, the life jackets. I remember during my course almost 3 years ago, all of us never liked wearing the life jacket. Fishy smell, bad tan lines, discomfort - you name it, we felt it.
I pray that their families and friends find the courage and strength to overcome their grief.
As the year draws to an end, probably many are starting to ponder about resolutions for 2008. A few years ago I made a realisation that resolutions should not only be made at the end or start of a new year, they should be made monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, or even at the present moment. Why is there a need to adhere to the calendar to guide how we should live?
Lyfe is short, we need to learn to live every day as if it were our last and be thankful each waking morning (or afternoon for some) for the time given to us. Yes cliches cliches cliches, but these habits are worth creating.

On a side note I'm glad that the money that NT* owes me is finally being processed after 1 and a half years of waiting. Hope it comes just in time to buy some Christmas joy.
