This Part Of My Lyfe Is Called "Miracles Happen"

Just a quick recap of the whole trip! Sorry for the lack of details but it'll reach like 10,000 pages if I typed everything out.

Day 1.
Reached the hotel at about 11 odd in the morning and after exploring the room and going "wow" and feeling on top of the world for a while, I felt like taking a nap. Set the alarm for an hour but ended up sleeping til 5pm. Yes I regretted that but couldn't help it since I didn't catch much of a wink on the 8-hr overnight flight. Rushed out to make up for lost time but I was only greeted by closed shops along the streets. Nevertheless, managed to get quite a number of shots before the skies started to darken at..9pm!

Day 2.
Had a 3 hour short tour of the city, including a boat ride on the Yarra River. There was this church we visited which resembled a castle from the outside - The architecture was amazing! The Gill*ette event followed in the afternoon and I finally had my much-anticipated session with Roger Fed*erer, although it lasted only about 3 minutes? Well, it was good while it lasted. Rushed off after everything wrapped up at 5 to one of the shopping malls. I was quite lucky to manage to get some souvenir shopping done. Got two books at 50% off too! :) Headed down randomly to the St Kilda's beach thereafter. Tranquility and more happiness! :)

Day 3.
Caught the Kooyong Classic at the Kooyong Stadium mid noon and after a common consensus that the players were not performing at their best and probably reserving energy for the Grand Slam the following week, we left at about 3. Headed back to the hotel for a short break before I set off for my lone ranger trip down to Brunswick. The area was supposed to be full of quirky shops but as usual, most of them were closed when I got there. Sigh. Took a long stroll down the street and explored where I could before heading for dinner with the Gille*tte and PR guys. It was fantastic fine dining :)

Day 4.
Rushed down to the famed Queen Victoria Market in the morning and did some last minute shopping with the rest of the guys. Eventually some of them had to leave earlier and it was down to me and Jerry, the Malaysian winner. We wrapped up everything after a quick tour of the offerings and headed back to the hotel to pack and await our drivers. Was rather stunned to see that I had a limo for the trip to the airport.

Happy trip. I feel recharged!
