Whose Clothes Is It?

Woke up early this morning to go down to BB HQ to join in other scouts for the YMCA-organised packing of stuff for the disaster.

I hate people who are late for no good reasons. Really. 10-15 minutes is tolerable. 20 is still ok. But more than that and wah kao..you're classified as a "tu2" person. We reached there 0930hrs or so and the people in charge came at 10 plus. So much for charity.

Anyway forget it.

I'm amazed at the stuff Singaporeans donate. Got lots of Polo Ralph polo-tees - I think one person donated about 6 or 7! Wow. LV, United Colors..blabla..some people are really too well-off.

And alot of people actually donated spaghets. Sure or not..people are probably freezing in the rainy weather or cold from hunger and spaghets?

Maybe it's all part of spring cleaning as well.

And the proportion of male to female clothing..nearly 1:3. Either females buy too much clothes or men refuse to donate theirs. I hope the male victims have enough clothing..

And among the tonnes of clothes, guess what else? Army green towel, army singlet, 6th Div singlet, Guards T-shirt. Kao..where's the army pride?

And what's more, VJC BLAZER! What the heck? Didn't return to school and somemore want to donate to victims?

And still more, two OSAMA BIN LADIN T-shirts, one said something like "I'm about to be nuked in the ass.." Wah kao! Wear it and that poor victim will probably be dragged to the cells maybe.

And there were sensitive brands like "Shockwave", "Phuket, Thailand" shirts etc.

I'm pretty amazed.

Anyway it's a nice feeling to start the year this way, nice gathering with other scouts friends too.
