Recently I just caught up with watching movies, on my laptop. Those which i downloaded but haven't really sat down and enjoyed. (Yah it's wrong to download movies..intellectual property and stuff. But that aside..)
The Lion King. Yes you're right, what's a childhood without the lion himself! The movie left me with a lot of puzzles, eg. how can there only be two lions and a baby lion in the whole jungle when there are so many lioness..how Simba can survive eating insects and grubs etc etc..
It's a cartoon! Stop reading so much into it!
But for a while, it gave me some inspiration. That those choosen to lead just can't run away. Coz' the whole world (of zebras and elephants and lioness and monkeys etc) will always be waiting for you to lead. So, you can run off and slack for a while, but you gotta finish your job.
Fahrenheit 911.
Oh gosh. Bush looks totally evil in the show! Maybe it's a mix of visual effects and how so many facts are revealed in the film. How could I have missed this! The coalition composition is such a mockery, I realised. To think monkeys were almost involved too. Some country supposedly offered monkeys as suicide bombers. So mad.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
Re-watched that again and finally understood the puzzles created after watching it a few years ago. I remember it was a midnight show I caught and I was expecting a night of laughter with Mr. Jim Carrey but hey, I ended up dozing off towards the end. Before you start to rattle "hey! how could you sleep!"..ARMY DAYS OK! Haha! Ok now I can say I finally understand it almost fully.
What would you do if you had a second chance with that someone in your lyfe, knowing why you would end up splitting eventually?
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the world forgetting, by the world forgot.
