First camp is over! What an experience!
As usual, the cadet scouts are still so adorable yet terok. I'm proud to say I handled most of them well! Esp some of the chao gengs in the first aid room all the time. Managed to convince them to surrender their lies and join back their groups. Talking to them is sometimes damn funny. Kids really say the darnest things. One of the conversations went something like this..
Me: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Kid: Last time I want to be ambulance..
Me: (LOL internally) What?? You know what is ambulance or not?
Kid: Yah. Like fireman..
Me: (LOL internally) Huh? Different you know? Fireman and ambulance.
Kid: I like to hold the hose and spray (shows action)
Me: ...(Internal injury due to over LOL-ing..)
The scouts were also damn funny sometimes. There will always be some cocksters who really make my day.
Me: The one still wearing the shirt, you take your time! Knock it down!
Another guy: Permission to join him Sir!
Me: You sure? Ok pls carry on. (Promote all-for-one, one-for all spirit..)
(Eventually whole patrol asks to join in..)
Guy who finish wearing his shirt: Permission to join them too Sir!
Me: (!!!!!) HELLO WAKE UP! You're the one who kenna and you're asking WHAT???
(Whole patrol LOL..)
Classic.
And there's this group from this particular school which I always suspect to be communist. Somewhere in Tanjong Rhu..HURHUR. They brought plastic bags of rice! Scared we never feed them issit? "Teacher-in-charge tell us to bring". (Pengz) This is the first time I've seen people bring rice to camps..DUH. And their badges are on the wrong side and I asked why. "They (seniors, ancestors..) tell us to put like that". And they never questioned why in the whole Singapore only their school does it that way.
Classic.
Weird but I had dreams of driving a van before the camp. And during the camp I really got to drive a van twice. Debut on PIE sia..hurhur.
I hate it when neighbourhood schools criticise my school for the sake of criticising, just like people always like to do to the govt. "All you high high schools"...No offence to them but WTF, once again. I mean, lyfe is unfair lah, so just make the best of what you get. No point sour grapes all the way right?
And it's high time Anglican High soared higher again. I have esp this hols to try to make it happen. The camp has let me see things in a new perspective again.

I finally got Corrinne May's CD! Can't find the new album to download. So I had to part with my bucks. But it's worth it! Inspirational and soothing! =) One more day to AHS camp. Let me catch up with my winks!
