I just couldn't get into the mood of doing the homework I needed to do, especially after sorting out the expenditure records for F*YP. You know what stats can do to the human eyes.
So I decided to start watching The Kite Runner, and got stuck for a good two hours. It helped that most of the dialogue was in Afghan (I think) langugage, 'cause reading off subtitles is always better than trying to catch what is being said.
The story's already pretty good, and the refined acting from the cast topped it off nicely. It's mainly centred around the theme of betrayal and redemption, but not the cliched plot. Strongly recommended!
Oh, and you can go to the Kite Runner website and write a kite to someone under the "Fly your kite be good again" section. Quite cool.
